Our Team

Anil Sharma

Anil is the founder of Sohum and prior to becoming licensed by the Law Society of Ontario, Anil attended and graduated from Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in paralegal studies.  While at Humber College, he did his internship and placement at a prominent boutique personal injury law firm in the greater Toronto area.

Anil has over 20-years of experience in accounting, which serves as an asset in his legal representation of clients. Anil has further legal services experience from his initial firm where he was a managing partner at Sharma LLP. At Sharma LLP, Anil dedicated his practice to civil litigation before the Small Claims Court (Superior Court of Justice), Landlord and Tenant Board matters and various other tribunals in Ontario.

Anil has been duly trained in alternative dispute resolution and he further has the ability to provide legal services in English, Hindi and Punjabi.  Anil is in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and he is a Notary Public in the province of Ontario.

Kris Badrinarayan

Kris is a consultant to the firm Sohum and he acts in an advisory role regarding the practice areas of the firm.  Kris graduated from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2003 from the Court & Tribunal program and was licensed by the Law Society of Ontario in 2008 through the grandfathering program.  Kris is also a Notary Pubic in the province of Ontario.

Kris has recently graduated from Law school with his LLB degree from the University of Essex.

Prior to his consultancy and advisory role, Kris was a managing partner at two paralegal firms.

Kris’ resume is extensive; wherein, he has served on the Anti-Racism Advisory Working Group for the Region of Waterloo and he further served on the Equity Advisory Group, which determines ways to bring equity within the legal profession. Kris has also been a guest speaker at a college in the Toronto area and he continues to teach paralegal studies at an accredited College.
